The reopening of the Meadowbrook community basketball court was celebrated Saturday with a ribbon cutting.. Edward Bland, executive director for Greenville North Carolina housing authority, said he thinks this court has been closed for two years and is excited that it is finally open to the public again. “We did a nice resurface, you see they have new goals here and provide some recreation for the kids who live in Meadowbrook,” Bland said.
