Bhubaneswar: A team of Election Commission of India (ECI) held a review meeting here regarding preparedness for the simultaneous elections to both General and Odisha Assembly elections 2024. The meeting was chaired by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar and Election Commissioner Arun Goel. Odisha Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Nikunja Bihari Dhal and senior police and other officials were present at the review meeting. Led by CEC Rajiv Kumar, the ECI team arrived in Bhubaneswar last evening on a three-day visit to Odisha to review the State’s preparedness for the simultaneous elections.
