Oman’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning has awarded contracts worth US $2.58bn for the development of Phase One of Sultan Haitham City, in Muscat. Spanning an area of more than 5m sqm, Phase One of Sultan Haitham City will feature 7,000 residential units with a capacity for 39,000 occupants. The construction area itself will cover 3m sqm.
