MECHANICSVILLE, Iowa (KCRG) – Each day, thousands of Iowans drive on two-lane portions of Highway 30 through Cedar County. Mechanicsville Mayor Andrew Oberbreckling says the road already has a huge impact on the city’s economy. “It brings customers to our local businesses, it’s able to bring new residents to the community,” said Oberbreckling.
