BAY SPRINGS, Miss. (WDAM) – Players and family members fought back tears at Bay Springs High School Wednesday as they said their goodbyes to beloved basketball coach, Corey Mackey. The longtime coach died unexpectedly last week, and Wednesday, the school held a memorial for a man who impacted many lives over the years. “I was amazed at the turnout,” said Mackey’s daughter, Za’Brayla. “It really touched our family to show that they would come out and show us love and support and share his fond memories and what he meant to them.” Players and coaches shared what it was like to be around Mackey. “He just lights up a room,” Coach Adrian Agee said. “He’s a great guy.” Others talked about what h
