YOUNGSTOWN – The Beach Boys will be outdoors for a July 2 show at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre. Since the band’s debut single, “Surfin’ Safari,” in 1962, The Beach Boys have had more than 80 songs chart worldwide with 36 of them in the Top 40 in the United States, the most by a U.S. rock band. The band has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, and Rolling Stone magazine ranked the Beach Boys’ “Pet Sounds” at No. 2 on its list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
