Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday launched the LAccMI Bus scheme in the three more districts – Deogarh, Angul and Dhenkanal through video conferencing. A total of 101 buses will run in 440 Panchayats in these three districts benefiting more than 27 lakh people. As many as 17 buses will operate in 69 Panchayats in Degoarh. The scheme will benefit over 3 lakh people in the district. 29 buses will run in 176 Panchayats of Angul and 11.50 lakh people will benefit. Similarly, 55 buses will run in 195 Panchayats of Dhenkanal benefiting 13 lakh people, according to an official release. In this scheme, bus service from Panchayat to Block has been facilitated.
