WARREN — George Edward Kepner, 95, passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2024. He was born Feb. 25, 1928, in Warren, a son of Lee D. and Ruth Elizabeth Dillon Kepner. He graduated from Newton Falls High School and The Ohio State University, receiving extra credits at the University of Louisville, Rutgers and Michigan Tech. George obtained his master’s degree from Kent State University. He began teaching science in the Warren City School system at Central Junior High School and continued at Turner Junior High School, for 39 years. George was very active, enjoying big-band music and dancing. He was a longtime member of YMCA / TFF, playing volleyball and swimming. He played tennis at Cortland, Packard
