CLARENDON HILLS, IL – Clarendon Hills firefighters responded to the Hinsdale Golf Club on Saturday night after kitchen staff noted the smell of gas and quickly called 911, an official said. This was the second incident since early December in which a fire crew answered such a call at the club. In an email to Patch on Wednesday, acting Fire Chief Dave Godek said the fire crew spoke with staff and mitigated the problem by shutting down the gas.
