The Mahoning County Coroner’s Office has identified the man killed in a fatal motor vehicle accident on Interstate 80 earlier this week when a semi-trailer crashed into a pickup truck. Zackery Leffler, 25, of Burlington, Kentucky, was killed just before 11 a.m. on Dec. 5 when a semi trailer, headed eastbound, crossed over the center median and struck Leffler’s 2023 Dodge Ram pickup truck, which was heading west. An Ohio State Highway Patrol news release stated the semi continued through the guardrail before stopping in an embankment on the north side of the interstate.
