WARREN — A Youngstown woman was sentenced to two to three years after pleading guilty to a shoplifting incident that spiraled into her threatening and assaulting an officer. Sheriann Odem, 25, of Catalina Avenue, Youngstown, tried explaining to Trumbull Common Pleas Judge Andrew D. Logan that she had a traumatic experience prior to the events that led to her charges. However, Logan noted that Odem has a “history of violence,” with similar incidents and told Odem that she has shown no signs of remorse for her crime. Odem pleaded guilty in October to charges of second-degree felonious assault and vandalism, a fifth-degree felony. She faced an indefinite prison sentence of between two and 13
