November 28, 2023 (KHARTOUM) – An umbrella group of democratic and civil forces have urged the UN Security Council to strengthen the mandate of it’s mission in Sudan (UNITAMS) to end the ongoing bloodshed in the country. The call came from the coordination-body of democratic and civil forces (Taqaddum), a broad civilian coalition chaired by the Sudanese former Prime Minister, Abdullah Hamdok.
