The UA Air Force ROTC is hosting its annual 5-kilometer run Friday to celebrate Veterans Day. The event is scheduled to start at the Bureau of Mines at 5:45 a.m. and conclude around 7 a.m. This year, organizers are introducing trophies for the fastest male and female runner. According to Lauren Coleman, the public affairs officer for AFROTC, the club wanted to add a competitive side to the run. “It’s always a sight to behold as the community gathers in solidarity and good spirits,” Coleman said.
