Jeremy Mull, 37, of Bryan and currently in prison, had been indicted in November after he assaulted a fellow inmate at the Wood County Jail and caused serious physical harm. He was awaiting sentencing for endangering children. The two-day jury trial started Oct. 16 in the courtroom of Wood County Common Pleas Judge Joel Kuhlman. Mull in May rejected the state’s offer to amend the charge to assault — taking it from a second-degree felony to a first-degree misdemeanor — and dismiss repeat violent offender specifications. The state’s offer had a maximum jail sentence of 180 month
