Browns beat the 49ers in stunning fashion on Sunday, handing the 49ers their first loss of the season after a missed field goal at the end of the fourth by San Francisco.

So, we analyzed key figures from the Browns 19-17 win over the 49ers at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

13-10 – The 49ers faced their first second-half deficit of the season after K Dustin Hopkins made a 46-yard field goal with 2:59 left in the third quarter.

108 – The Browns defense held the 49ers to 108 rushing yards their lowest this season.

55.3 – QB Brock Purdy ended the game with a 55.3 passer rating, his lowest of the season. Coming into Sunday, he had the best passer rating amongst quarterbacks.

San Francisco 49ers suffered their first defeat on the field Sunday against the Cleveland Browns and now are waiting to see the severity of the injuries they suffered in the loss.

Wide receiver Deebo Samuel and running back Christian McCaffrey suffered shoulder and oblique/rib injuries, respectively, in the 19-17 loss. The injuries were significant enough that neither player was able to finish the game after departing.

Kyle Shanahan was unsure of the extent of either injury, though both players will have further testing done Monday.

The 49ers kept using the word "grimy" to describe it, but it is a luxury of a team this talented, with this strong a track record, that their first regular season loss in 16 tries can elicit a philosophical reaction and a very long view.

"It's easy to stand behind that 5-0 record and just expect to be perfect every time," fullback Kyle Juszczyk said after the game. "I think we're all human and we all make mistakes. Making mistakes at some point is good because

Samuel was involved in a pregame scuffle between both the Browns and 49ers. He did not record a catch before exiting.

Williams, who's gone to three straight Pro Bowls as the 49ers' blind-side blocker, stayed on the field for the team's entire second scoring drive after his brief exit. He required help to get off the ground but walked to the sidelines under his own power.

The Niners went on to drop their first game of the season after rookie kicker Jake Moody missed a game-winning field goal en route to a 19-17 upset.
