The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Monday. At approximately 12:46 p.m., deputies responded to a three-vehicle crash on U.S. 23 just south of Ohio 582 in Troy Township. A 2014 Chevy Cruze, driven by 76-vear old-William Grimm of Woodville, was stopped southbound on Route 23 waiting to make a left turn. A 2010 Hyundai, driven by 31-year-old Chelsea Fairchild of Mansfield, struck Grimm from behind, pushing him into the northbound lane where he was struck head on by 2016 Chevy Cruze driven by 21-year-old Andrew Holcomb of Gibsonburg.
