The Chicago-based maker of weather-resistent home construction materials said Wednesday that the deal to sell Vycom, which is housed within its commercial segment and makes plastic-sheet products, is expected to close Nov. 1. The company didn’t say what the terms of the sale agreement were. Azek Chief Executive Jesse Singh said the sale simplifies the company’s portfolio and allows Azek to focus on its residential segment, which makes weather-resistent deck materials.
