SANDY BAY, SASK. – Sandy Bay, a village in northern Saskatchewan, is upgrading its airport with an improved runway and other infrastructure. Approximately $4.6 million in both federal and provincial funding in a 50-50 cost sharing agreement will go towards enhancing runways, taxiways and airfield lighting.
