ROSSFORD — Maumee evened its record to 4-4 overall and 2-3 in the Northern Buckeye Conference with a 50-42 overtime victory against Rossford Friday at Jackson Ferguson Stadium. Maumee sophomore quarterback Ben Kubicz led the Panthers on a comeback from three touchdowns down to make overtime happen and then win the game. Kubicz completed 22-of-47 passes for 337 yards and six touchdowns, although he had two passes intercepted. His longest pass was 55 yards to Carson Graetz.
