Damac Properties, the Duba-based luxury project developer, has said that it has achieved a key milestone on its Aykon City Project, on the banks of the Dubai Canal on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. In a statement, the developer said that the structure of Tower B has been fully completed, with approximately 90,000cu m of concrete going into the structure. Additionally, around 11,000 tonnes of steel were used – roughly half the weight of the Statue of Liberty. Once completed, the 53-storey tower will stand at a height of 246 metres and will house 1,218 units. The majority of units will be studio and one-bedroom apartments, but there will be 138 two-bedroom units, and 45 three-bedroom apartments,
