To ensure she stays in prison, he added two consecutive sentences adding 18 years to her sentence for the crimes of dismembering and sexually assaulting her victim.
Schabusiness appeared in court in what appeared to be a spit hood as she faced her sentencing for murdering and dismembering a Green Bay man in his mother’s home.
Schabusiness' attorney said she was the victim of the drugs she began using as she grew older, and did not receive help fighting her dependence on the substances, even when she was in jail.
Thomas Walsh in asking for less than the maximum sentence. "She's going to need some treatment to process all these (addiction issues) ... My client has a history of using mind-altering substances. But she still graduated from high school, had a baby, and held a job."
Schabusiness was arrested on Feb. 23, 2022, after Thyrion’s mother called police to her house after she discovered her son’s head in a bucket in the basement.
Brown County Circuit Judge Thomas Walsh said Tuesday before announcing her sentence that “the offense in this case can’t be overstated,” the Green Bay Press-Gazette reported.
“You seem to run out of superlatives. Where the victim’s remains are cut up? These actions are foreign. They shock the community; there aren’t really words for it,” he said.
“This body was essentially bloodless,” Tranchida said, adding that the injuries suggested someone tried to remove the blood from his flesh.
“The deceased was castrated as well…it is in my medical opinion that this would have taken a great deal of time,” the doctor added.
Jeffrey Dahmer, which included taking selfies with a photo of the serial killer. Former Green Bay Police lieutenant Jena Luberda testified that she found several Dahmer-related photos saved on Schabusiness’s phone, as well as about 24 online searches about the Milwaukee murderer infamous for killing and dismembering 17 men between 1978 and 1991.
“Things like Jeffrey Dahmer, Jeff Boyardee, Jeffrey Dahmer’s butt, Jeffrey Dahmer walking into court all sexy,” Luberda said about Schabusiness’s search history.
