Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday apprehended a senior clerk at the office of District Ayurveda Medical Officer, Keonjhar for allegedly accepting bribe from a Ayurvedic Assistant. The senior clerk has been identified as Debasis Mohapatra. Mohapatra has been caught by the Vigilance sleuths while demanding and accepting bribe Rs. Rs.5000 from a complainant (Ayurvedic Asst.) for drawl and processing of arrear salary bill. Earlier, Mohapatra had demanded Rs.15,000 from the complainant.
