LUCKEY — A Perrysburg man was hospitalized after he attempted a “burn out” with his Camero and ended up in a ditch. On Sunday shortly after 6 p.m., the Wood County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 20000 block of Luckey Road for a car in a ditch. According to the crash report, Howard Fry, 64, was attempting a “burn out” when the vehicle unexpectedly caught traction, traveled off the road and went into a ditch. Troy Township EMS transported Fry to Mercy Health – St. Charles Hospital with suspected serious injuries. He was cited for willful and wanton disregard for safety on roadways. His 2018 Chevy Camaro was towed from the scene with damage to the passenger side.
