Rihanna and ASAP Rocky share photos of their baby

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky have debuted the newest addition to their family in a rare photoshoot. In a photo shared by photographer Miles Diggs on Instagram, the couple poses with their newborn son, Riot Rose, and firstborn RZA.

Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, famously debuted her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl performance earlier this year. She and rapper ASAP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, welcomed their first baby boy in May 2022.

The couple has kept many details about their family life private, sharing only a few shots of their kids online. The new images shared by Diggs on Instagram and Shutterstock are the first public photos of Riot Rose. "The Mayers Boyz," Rihanna, 35, commented on the Instagram post. 

Rihanna revealed the exciting news that she was expecting another baby in the opening moments of her Super Bowl performance in February, rubbing her stomach and leaving the zipper of her outfit — a jumpsuit layered over a close-fitting bodysuit and sculpted bandeau — down to reveal her belly.

Since stepping down as chief executive of her Savage X Fenty lingerie brand in June, the “Diamonds” performer has been more willing to share photos of her children. In August, before giving birth to Riot, Rihanna dropped a Savage X Fenty maternity line. To promote the line of nursing bralettes, she cradled and nursed RZA for a series of Vogue photos.

“I want to remind people that you can still channel sexiness and feel good while being a parent,” she said.

The singer has yet to reveal whether she’s working on new music, but she told Apple Music earlier this year that her live-music comeback was influenced by her experience with motherhood.

Riot Rose continues the tradition of R names in the family.
