All about Taylor Swift relationships and a vault song with Google

Taylor Swift fans were struggling Tuesday as the pop sensation sent them on a virtual Easter egg hunt to reveal her new "1989 (Taylor's Version)" track titles — only to be faced with technical difficulties.

Swift announced her upcoming "1989" re-recording last month while performing in Los Angeles, and that "Taylor's Version" will include previously unreleased songs. Vault songs have been included in her three prior re-recording releases as an extra perk for fans who stream and purchase the albums.

Swift previously revealed vault tracks for “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” and “Red (Taylor’s Version)” by releasing a video of scrambled letters.

Taylor Swift and Minaj are both Sagittariuses given their Dec. 13 and Dec. 8 birthdays, respectively. At the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (Sept. 12), after accepting her third trophy from Minaj — who served as the night’s emcee — Swift said, “That’s my favorite Sagittarius over there,” eliciting a giant smile and an enthusiastically affirmative response from the “Last Time I Saw You” rapper. Minaj has been a devoted champion of her star sign for years, so this came as no surprise to her biggest fans.

Minaj tweeted, “Fighting the urge to say Sagittarius tingz right now so bad,” when she quoted a tweet commemorating her and Swift as the only female artists in Billboard chart history to place over 100 entries on the Hot 100. Earlier this year (Mar. 24), the “Super Freaky Girl” rapper tweeted, “Dear Barbz, it must be exhausting always rooting for the Anti-hero,” a reference to both her controversial public persona and Swift’s Hot 100-topping Midnights single.

Swift announced on her website on Sept. 13 that an unnamed exclusive bonus track will be available on the tangerine edition of the vinyl, which will be available at Target stores on Oct. 27.

On Sept. 19, Swifties were sent into a frenzy − and on a virtual scavenger hunt − when Swift teamed with Google to tease her "From the Vault" tracks. In order to reveal the track titles, fans around the world combined their powers to unscramble letters in 89 different puzzles. When 33 million of these challenges are completed, the vault will be opened and the song titles revealed.
