Care & Share Thrift Shoppes in Souderton, Pa., held a ribbon-cutting ceremony July 21 to launch its welcome center. The center provides space for volunteer orientations that happen two to three times a week. The new welcome center also houses offices and a conference room and is more easily accessible for potential volunteers. It was previously located in a hard-to-reach area near the back of the facility. Care & Share, a ministry of Mosaic Mennonite Conference, began in 1975. It now operates five shops in Souderton Shopping Center that support Mennonite Central Committee.
