According to the office of DA David Eyster, Roland Joseph Eskind, Jr., 53, formerly of San Ramon, “withdrew his not-guilty plea Monday afternoon in Mendocino County Superior Court and, in its place, entered a no-contest plea.” The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported that Eskind was arrested shortly after the fire began around 4:10 a.m. Feb. 13 at the Gualala Community Center in the 47000 block of Center Street.
