Vivek Ramaswamy, the fresh-faced Republican shaking up the 2024 presidential race, is making a case for unifying a bitterly divided nation. The secret, he insists, is as American as apple pie: capitalism.
“Democrats and Republicans alike, we tend to be more proud of a country when we’re all making more money in that country,” he tells 100 or so diners enjoying turkey sandwiches and diet Cokes. “We don’t have to flog ourselves for capitalism. Stop apologizing for capitalism. We should embrace capitalism.”
Vivek Ganapathy Ramaswamy started his journey as an entrepreneur and managed to transform himself into one of the top billionaiares of America. He was born in Cincinnati to an Indian couple. He completed his education from Harvard University and Yale Law School.
ESG) initiatives. In his campaigns he was seen claiming that the US is in the middle of secular religions like COVID-ism, climate-ism, and gender ideology. He is a vocal critic of ESG.
Vivek Ramaswamy, a GOP presidential hopeful, has privately told associates that Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy asked him to pay up if he wished to appear on the network more, Semafor reported Sunday. According to the outlet, Ramaswamy was on a call with Ruddy, lamenting the humdrum daytime slots he was receiving on the channel, when the executive advised Ramaswamy to buy more ads on the network if he wanted more coverage.  Newsmax has vehemently denied the claim. “That Newsmax is asking candidates to advertise in order to ensure coverage as some quid pro quo…is categorically untrue and incorrect,” network spokesperson Bill Daddi told Semafor. “There is no correlation between advertising and editorial visibility for any candidate on Newsmax.” Daddi continued: “If candidates want to reach our audience outside of our programming, then, of course, advertising would be a good way for them to do this. That is the basis of all political advertising.”
Ramaswamy says he is in the race to win, and that he would not be open to running alongside Trump. He says he believes he is the only candidate who can secure a 1980s "Reagan-style" landslide victory as part of a "Ramaswamy revolution" in 2024, pointing to his ability to connect with voters who are turned off by Trump.
"I think I'm going further with the America First agenda than Trump did, but for whatever reason, it does not have that same effect on the people of this country," Ramaswamy said when asked by ABC News about his comments that Donald Trump makes 30% of the country "[lose] their mental faculties."
