The Mets will start right-hander Denyi Reyes in the first game of tomorrow’s doubleheader with Atlanta, the team informed reporters (including Tim Healey of Newsday). Since Reyes isn’t on the 40-man roster, New York will officially select his contract before the game. Reyes made six appearances for New York earlier this season. An offseason minor league pickup, he made it to majors by the first week of the year. Reyes was on and off the active roster for the next couple months before being designated for assignment on July 4 and subsequently waived. The 6’4″ hurler has allowed five runs in 7 1/3 innings over his big league work thus far. He has started 13 of 15 outings for Triple-A Syracuse,
