Willits Song Circle will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 2 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and every first Wednesday at Willits Methodist Church on the corner of School and Pine streets. This is a group for anybody who likes to sing. Open to all. Led by Don Willis and Madge Strong, but anyone can lead (or request) a song. What kind of songs? Rounds, popular songs, folk songs, simple part songs — anything that can be learned easily. (If there are lots of lyrics, we like to provide copies for everyone.) You’re welcome to join with instruments: guitar, ukulele, drum, shaker — anything that you can sing along with. It’s free! Donations accepted for the use of the hall.
