July 24, 2023 (JUBA) – The U.S has sent emergency supply of high-energy biscuits for World Food Programme’s (WFP) humanitarian response to people fleeing the conflict in Sudan. “WFP is receiving 40.5 metric tons of high energy biscuits from USAID to support people affected by the Sudan crisis, who are arriving at the reception centres in locations across the country such as Renk, Aweil, Bentiu and Abyei,” WFP said Monday. The donated stocks, it added, will arrive at Juba international airport on July 25.
