Yes they do. 25 years ago Zell Miller the governor of Georgia received a grant from the legislature so he could send a gift of a long play record of classical music to the parents of each new born baby in the state. A lot of research has been done since then. When babies began listening to the music dopamine was released which a feel pleasure began. When babies listen to classical music it brings a new born’s heart and breathing rates down and sooths their stress.
