MAUMEE – The Toledo Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle serious injury crash that occurred Tuesday at 2:10 p.m. on U.S. 24 near the Anthony Wayne Trail underpass in Monclova Township. The preliminary investigation showed a Chevrolet pick-up truck, operated by Randall John Renshler, 25, Toledo, was driving eastbound and changed lanes, striking a Freightliner semi-tractor-trailer combination, operated by Derrick R. Paul, 50, Waco, Georgia. Renshler then lost control of his vehicle, drove off the left side of the roadway, and overturned before coming to rest in the westbound lanes.
