Per MLB.com’s Anthony DiComo, Mets reliever Denyi Reyes has cleared waivers and been assigned outright to Triple-A. That leaves Reyes to remain in the Mets organization going forward. Reyes had been designated for assignment last week in order to make room for outfielder DJ Steward on the 40-man roster. The 26-year-old righty made his major league debut with the Orioles last year, pitching to a 2.35 ERA in 7 2/3 innings of work before being outrighted off the 40-man roster following the 2022 campaign.
