A Willits man was arrested on suspicion of 13 felonies after reportedly climbing a tree to escape capture, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported. According to the MCSO, deputies responded to the 1900 block of East Hill Road around 6 p.m. June 30 when it was reported that a man was pointing a firearm at a woman and Willits Police Department officers requested that personnel from the California Highway Patrol and MCSO assist with their pursuit of the suspect, identified as Shannon L.
