The Smith County High School Owls and Lady Owls hosted the annual kids soccer skills camp this past week. Over 80 campers attended three days of fun and learning, coached by the Coaching staff and players of the high school teams. Kids from kindergarten to 8th grade were grouped into teams by grade and skill so that they got the specific attention and tools for their level. They were taught proper kicking, throw in, and offense/defense techniques. They also got to learn how the game is played in real time with scrimmages.
