Damascus, SANA- Eight tremors with magnitudes ranging between 1.7 and 4.1 were recorded over the past 24 hours, National Earthquake Center(NEC) announced Tuesday. The stations of the National Seismological Monitoring Network registered on Tuesday morning a 2.8 magnitude tremor northeast of Raqqa at a depth of 6.2, the NEC said in a statement. The center added that seven other quakes were also reported over the 24 past hours, ranging between weak to medium in magnitude.
