A Ukiah man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly choking a pregnant woman and violating a restraining order filed against him, the Ukiah Police Department reported. According to the UPD, officers responded to the 200 block of Thomas Street around 7:30 p.m. May 24 when a “distressed pregnant female (said she was) being choked by her ex-boyfriend,” who was identified as Andru J. Campbell, a 23-year-old Ukiah resident who was also described by the UPD as “the restrained person in a domestic violence restraining order (who was also) on probation out of Mendocino County for domestic violence charges.” While the victim was treated at a local hospital, officers searched the area for Campbell, who w
