The Ukiah Branch Library will host a LOBA Poetry series on the third Saturday of each month at 3 p.m. This free event is open to both teens and adults – all are invited to share poems in any form or style or just listen to others. On Saturday, May 20 Michael Riedell, who is the author of three books of poetry and served as poet laureate of Ukiah, where he hosts a monthly reading series, Writers Read, will be the guest. He has work in, or forthcoming in literary journals including Clutch, The Stillwater Review, Blue Unicorn, and in Molly Fisk’s California Fire & Water: A Climate Crisis Anthology.
