A Mendocino County man was killed Sunday when the ATV he was driving overturned near Mendocino Pass Road, the California Highway Patrol reported. According to the CHP, the Covelo resident was operating a 2005 Polaris Sportsman on Mexico Ridge Road south of Mendocino Pass Road in an unincorporated area of northeastern Mendocino County around 7:30 p.m. May 14.
