The lawyer for murdered Mansoura University student, Naira Ashraf, announced that her family had requested that the murderer’s execution be aired on satellite channels to make an example out of him. Lawyer Khaled Abdel Rahman submitted a request to authorities to allow satellite channels to publicly broadcast the execution of the murderer, Mohamed Adel. Adel attacked Ashraf using a bladed weapon in front of the university gate in Daqahliya Governorate. The crime occurred, on June 20, 2022 after the victim turned down his marriage request.
