This visit cones as an invitation of the Egyptian foreign minister Sameh Shoukry. The Minister Shoukry visited Damascus on February 27, and conveyed to President Bashar al-Assad a message from President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, in which he affirmed Egypt’s solidarity with Syria and his pride in the historical relations between the two countries.
