Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) has signed an agreement with Etihad Energy Services Company (Etihad Esco) to set up a 2.5MW photovoltaic power station as part of its efforts to boost the contribution of clean energy and to cut carbon emissions. In its first year of operation, the plant is projected to generate 3.79m kWh of clean energy, thereby reducing carbon emissions by 1.37m kg.
