The Saudi Jordanian Investment Fund (SJIF) has awarded a contract to Hill International for a $400mn healthcare project in Amman, Jordan. It will be implemented on a build-operate-transfer (BOT) model and will see ownership transferred to the Jordanian government at the end of the investment period. The university hospital project will have a built-up area of 110,000sqm and will comprise 330 beds, 72 outpatient clinics, a children’s hospital, and a medical school with a total capacity for 600 students.
