December 1, 2022 (JUBA) –  South Sudan’s Customs Commission and the Customs Corporation of neighboring inked an agreement aimed at opening border crossings between the two countries at Guda area and Kosti Port in order to facilitate trade exchange and goods movement between the two countries. The signing of the agreement took place in Juba, South Sudan on Tuesday. Sudan’s Customs Director General Lt. General Bashir Al –Tahir and South Sudan’s Deputy Inspector General of Police, Tomas Jack signed the cooperation agreement. The two parties, a statement noted, agreed also to cooperate in the field of training and capacity-building of South Sudan’s employees and to provide training opportunitie
