A Washington, D.C., man has been sentenced to 30 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a confrontation with police during which he possessed two Molotov cocktails. A release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia states that 26-year-old Bernard McCutcheon was originally sentenced to 60 months, but the sentence was cut in half on the condition that he successfully complete three years of probation. He pleaded guilty to a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon at the end of September.
