Damascus countryside, SANA- Syria’s National Chess Team won two gold medals in the Arab Championship for age categories. Mazen Fendi won gold medal for the ten-year category, while Karim Al-Atrash attained his gold medal in behalf of the eight-year category, two rounds before the end of the tournament. The tournament kicked off last Wednesday with the participation of 144 chess players representing six countries apart from Syria.
