September 25, 2022 (KHARTOUM) – The first training of security forces to protect civilians in Darfur commenced in North Darfur State capital, El Fasher on Monday. Brig. Gen. Ahmed Yahya Gedo, a Joint Higher Military Committee for Security Arrangements member, said the three weeks course is part of the committee’s training plan. He said 1,704 trainees, including 125 officers, will benefit from the training in Dar Al-Arqam.
