Azizi Developments has announced the purchase of a strategic plot of land on Sheikh Zayed Road from master developer Meydan. Mobilisation is due to begin shortly, with the first activities happening on-site later this month, the developer said. Plans for the land, which is said to be a prime location adjacent to the World Trade Centre (Metro Station 2), have not yet been made public. Azizi is, however, already working on designs for a mixed-use development, which will comprise residential, hospitality and retail spaces. In May 2022, Azizi said it had signed an agreement with Nerkal Interior for its Riviera megaproject. The signing ceremony was attended by the CEO of Meydan City Corporation,
