A Covelo man was arrested recently for allegedly assaulting a woman and drinking alcohol with a teen-aged girl, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office reported. According to the MCSO, deputies responded to the 24000 block of Riffe Road in Covelo around 12:30 a.m. Sept. 2 when it was reported that a man had assaulted a woman, identified only as a 26-year-old.
